I need to understand if it is possible to create reports with X number of columns. X will come from a class. So it will change depending on the field selected from a wizard before generating the report.
Will it be possible to code a report (I am currently using the RM) flexible enough to do this with OpenERP?
I am not asking how to do it, I just want to understand the possibilities and limitations.
I think it is possible the same way as the screen that is modified on the fly to show up the parameters when you issue a pentaho report.
In that case you should have a template and knows the point of time when you have to modify it before browsing.
Also the same as all views in the application, tree or form views, they are created on the fly from the saved xml files that contain only the definition of the views.
