I understand that under "Price Computation" you have a set formula.

If you want a 10% discount you should do it like this.

New Price = Base Price * (1+ /Field1/ ) + /Field2/

Where you use /-0.10/ for field one in order to get the 10% discount and leave field 2 as 0.

I followed these steps, and then created a draft quotation, I selected my pricelist with said discount, I selected an item, priced it as 100 bucks, confirmed the sale and when I did it appeared as 100, not 90 as it should have been. Is there anything I´m missing?

Try to apply Product or Product Category

It is not about Product or production categerory in pricelist form. By default you don't need to put any product or product category before it works. Do you have many pricelists?

If yes go to partner form and change in the sale and purchase tab the pricelist with the pricelist where you have just set your configuration.

If not, check in pricelist form if your New Price = Base Price * (1+ /Field1/ ) + /Field2/ is base on public price.

Good work

Yeah I had it set as based on "other pricelist" and that other pricelist was "public price" for some reason this didnt work as opposed to setting it as public pricelist from the get-go.

Hi,

It should work with your configuration. Try to apply Product or Product Category in Pricelist. See the same configuration as you which is working for me : http://awesomescreenshot.com/0e12mgtr8f http://awesomescreenshot.com/0f72mgtx23 http://awesomescreenshot.com/02e2mgtzaa

Your screenshots made me realize that it wont work with the method my company is using, you see, my company usually sets prices as "1" and our salesmen are free to price products to our clients depending on many variables, so the same product can go for 200 for perspon A while it can go for 270 for person B. But pricelists affect the price that is already set for product so it wont affect the price our salesmen set during the quotation process...as far as I know anyways, this is good to know!
