Integrity Error in Project Attachment Share

The system I am using is a fresh installation on a Debian VM with the demo database entries added.

In the Projects module, I have added text file attachments to projects for testing. When I attempt to Share or Embed on a file, I get the following error.

Integrity Error

The operation cannot be completed, probably due to the following: - deletion: you may be trying to delete a record while other records still reference it - creation/update: a mandatory field is not correctly set

[object with reference: action_id - action.id]

I would prefer to fix the error and make the sharing work on project files. I don't get the integrity error when I attempt to share other things.

What specifically are you trying to share? The project record itself or the attachment?

I was trying to share the attached file when I received the error. The file was a simple text file with a few characters in it. I was not implying that I attached a file to this discussion, but it was attached to a project.

Right, I'm just saying because you can share the project record itself to allow portal access on it, or you can just share an individual attachment, and those are two different things. I'm actually not sure how you would share an individual attachment. The fact that it's on a project record shouldn't matter at all. You'd have to go into the Knowledge section and find the attachment record and share that, unless there's some shortcut I'm missing.
