After upgrading to Odoo 8, the header row in each tree view disappears off the screen when scrolling down. It scrolls up and down along with the data rows, which is undesireable. Is there anyway to lock the column headings so they are visible at all times?

Even am looking for the same.... In Happens in Form View as well,... If I need to access any of the custom buttons placed on the top of Form view, I need to scroll up to reach it...

Still nothing eh? We appear to have a similar problem with Gantt charts, as soon as you scroll to the right the row labels disappear.
