I want sum of costs of all materials from bill of materials. Is it possible to compute this information by user-defined filter? How to define the domain and context for this filter? Can anyone suggest a feasible solution for version 8?  I have read this question before: https://www.odoo.com/fr_FR/forum/help-1/question/how-to-calculate-real-manufacturing-cost-26456 and I'm not able to write the module for it.

I don't think its possible using filter but I have got a custom module in Odoo 8 implementing this functionality, where in you can have additional tab in MRP order for, to include additional production charges like electricity bills etc to the cost from BOM materials and finally compute the total cost by clicking a button. It is also possible to only consider cost from BOM to compute final cost of the product. Also in the module, unit price of raw materials based on quantity and total price will be visible at Bill of Materials. For any queries, contact me( akhil.p.sivan007@gmail.com)
