I have created a Custom module and I want to add additional fields similar to leads or sale

Need help with adding additional fields to custom module. Though I have created few columns they do not appear I am not sure how to go ahead with it and create new customer details. Any suggestion please!

Else you can take a look at a simple module like website_hr : https://github.com/odoo/odoo/blob/8.0/addons/website_hr/models/hr.py.
This file show you how to add 2 fields in hr.employee model.


To add fields in your tree view / form view, you need to add with xpath your new fields to the orgnal view.

E.G. : https://github.com/odoo/odoo/blob/8.0/addons/website_hr_recruitment/views/hr_job_views.xml
