I'm trying to install openobject-server on OSX 10.8.3.

I have done:

python setup.py build
sudo python setup.py install

Now when trying to start I get this error:

gizur-laptop-5:openobject-server jonas$ ./openerp-server --addons-path=~/home/workspace/stable/addons

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem with source installation on Debian Linux

No module named PIL

PIL : The Python Imaging Library (PIL) adds image processing capabilities to your Python interpreter. This library supports many file formats, and provides powerful image processing and graphics capabilities.

install this Library python.

PIL is installed. I tried to upgrade and start again but get the same error.

gizur-laptop-5:openobject-server jonas$ pip install PIL --upgrade
Requirement already up-to-date: PIL in /Library/Python/2.7/site-packages/PIL
Cleaning up...
