If a customer calls with a question and he's got an invoice number, how can I pull up the Delivery Order associated with it? I can see the Sales Order number on the Invoice. There is no Delivery Order number either on the Sales Order or the Invoice.
My system setting are
- Generate invoices on the sales order line
- Trigger delivery orders automatically from sales orders
Once all is delivered and invoiced, I open up the invoice and the Sales Order but I can't see any mention of the Delivery Order.
I generate the invoice on the sales order (rather than the delivery order) because I use Phantom Sets. Otherwise, the Invoice would list all the items in the phantom set rather than the item sold.
Looks like the latest v7 build includes a button "View Delivery" when viewing the Sales Order. I guess this is either (1) an update that I haven't got, or (2) a settings issue, or (3) an add-on that I don't know about. Ref. http://7-0-28684-all.runbot.openerp.com/
