How to reply email from discuss / @Inbox?

Hi All,


I'm new to Odoo, evaluating Odoo V9. 

I setup email integration, so I can receive email sent to a user in Odoo and I can also send email from Odoo. Great!
Now, the incoming mail appears in the Discuss->@Inbox.
I see that I can click on the star (mark as todo) and check-mark (mark as read).

But how do I reply to this incoming email, and how can I transform it to a sales lead?

I found out that the reply icon is only shown IF the mail record_name is not null, and the model is not null (can post_message).
Now, I found out also that an incoming email always has those two fields null. So who is responsible for filling up title-field should be able to fill up record_name and model so it can be replied to.

Can someone give me a pointer here? 

No body can help?
