Hello, 

We just begin to implement openerp in our business and thus, we try to install PosBox

We have currently a problem with the installation of it. Indeed, we added the printer and connect the USB barcode scanner. But the posbox doesn't boot and the button "rdy" is still red. So printer doesn't print the status receipt with ip adress of the posbox.

We added the printer according to its id  : 1504:002b

{  'vendor' : 0x002b, 'product' : 0x1504, 'name' : 'Metapace T3' },

We also tried :

{ 'vendor' : 0x1504, 'product' : 0x002b, 'name' : 'Metapace T3},

 

In both case and after we connect barcode scanner, the PosBox doesn't boot and is not ready.

What could we do ?

Make sure the POSBOX is connected to the same network as the Odoo client

Connect it to the server to which your Odoo app is also connected

Of course, make sure the memory card is inserted into the POSBOX;
