I have to migrate assets which have been bought years ago and that already have a parcial depreciation. For example, I bought a car for U$S 2000 two years ago and today the Net Book Value is U$S1500. How do I enter this information in oddo asset module?
If I enter the asset with the real Purchase Date and the real years of depreciation, the system will generate journals and account for depreciation that has already passed, which is wrong.
If I enter the asset with the real value as of today (U$S1500) I loose the information of the real date of purchase and the real purchase value...
Which would be the best way to register this?
