How to know if the Product is Available when creating a Sales Order?

Is it possible to know when a product on hand is still available or already reserved when creating a Sales order?

For example, I have Product 1 with a quantity on hand of 1000 pcs,

SO01 ordered 500pcs.

SO02 ordered 500pcs.

SO03 ordered 300pcs

Upon creation of SO03, is it possible to notify the user that the quantity on hand of Product 1 was already reserved for SO01 and SO02?,

There is a way to reserve stock on Sales Order lines via a community module.
