In my company, all the templates for contracts are made with Microsoft Office Word 2010.

So they are put in docx files.

How can I import these docx files on Open Erp to have a template for contracts?

The software only give me the choice to import csv files.

Any solution? Is there any module i can install to solve my problem?

Lionel,

If the contract is a record, you have to import it as the csv file.

But if the contract is more than something of record and more a document, you should better attach to the record.

Thanks.

@Serpent Could you please develop a little bit on the difference between document and record. I understand that considering a contract as a record allows to insert fields from the odoo database ; is that right and could you give some examples of it?

Ad, I meant, if the contract is a set of information for various fields, you can make a CSV...make it import compatible and proceed to import. If the contract is a document which is a kind of NDA, kind of legal doc, you can make a record in system with minimal info like name, dates and etc...and attach the document to that record. Hope this helps.
