My development team has written some modules that extend the functionality of Odoo and we would like to contribute them back to the community in case someone might find them useful or wish to extend them for other uses.

Dear Carlton,

It would be best if you can submit them to one of the Odoo Community Association repositories:

https://github.com/OCA

Please review the existing projects and if there's one that is aligned with the changes that you have introduced, fork it, add your new modules and send a Pull Request for revision for merge.

You can find more information about the Odoo Community Association here:

You can publish your modules as community modules. then they will be available for installation in odoo (at "Settings/Modules/Apps" page, clear "Featured" search filter and scroll down few times using "Show more.." button). there is already lot of modules published, you can identify them as they have "Community" mark next of the name.

you can also browse published apps online at https://apps.openerp.com/apps

you can start here
