I am trying to remove the database list which is shown at Log-In screen.

I am trying to remove it through module, I know about --db-filter and --no-database-list and how to use it at server startup.

My module:

<t t-extend="Login">
   <t t-jquery="div.oe_login_dbpane" t-operation="replace">
        <div class="oe_login_dbpane">
            Db-removed <!-- <input name="db" t-att-value="widget.selected_db || ''"/> -->
        </div>
   </t>

When I comment out the < input > tag page does not load.

Can someone please tell me how to hide database list using a module?

I am assuming you want only one database to show in your openerp installation. My personal preference is to bind one database to one subdomain. Here is a server side solution.

When you start the openerp-server, use the following options -d DBNAME --db-filter=DBNAME

e,g. openerp-server -c openerp-server.DBNAME.conf -d DBNAME --db-filter=DBNAME

Thanks. I will make that mine personal preference too.

Hi.

Create a module and add a .css file containing this code:
/static/src/css/base.css

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<templates>
<!-- Templates modified at the web start, before loading of a database. -->
<!-- Remove the Manage database link, but keep the Powered by OpenERP-->
<t t-extend="Login">
    <t t-jquery="div.oe_login_footer" t-operation="replace">
        <a href="http://www.openerp.com" target="_blank">Powered by <span>OpenERP</span></a>
    </t>
</t>
</templates>

This will remove the 'Manage Databse' link in the login footer AND the database drop down list in the top right corner. It works fine for me. (I only have one database running)

Regards.

You can do that at your server start :

openerp-server  --no-database-list

Then to access your openerp you need to specify the database in the url parameter

http://myurl.com/?db=my_db#

Hii

You can't remove ,because it must select database to load

Is there any way of hiding it by using a module?
