In Online Demo chatter is working at Human Resources, employee forms by default. But in my OpenERP v7 setup it doesn't. It does work on other forms but not in employees forms.

Can anyone help me with that? I just need to be able to see when the employee was created , send a message, attach a file and log a note in the employee form.

What I need to enable is (class="oe_chatter") in (model=hr.employee) model.

I am new to OpenERP and need some help.

Can anyone help me on how to do this?

If I am not wrong, the online demo rus on the trunk version of OpenERP (future v8), like the one used by OpenERP Online users.

This could explain a difference between your version 7 and the online demo.

But I am not sure it's the right answer as I thought open chatter was active on employees since v7.

It seems to be active if I open the xml and .py files from an html editor. oe_chatter is inherited in most hr components.

When I enter the employee info, that's the only page that doesn't seem to have oe_chatter enabled.

can you please tell me how to overide chatter creation text
