Requirement :- I want to download a special format file(.SIF) through HR->Payslip->Employee Payslips by selecting the whole employees or some selected employees and be able to download the .SIF file . How do i attain this functionality in simple and apt way from the openERP system. .SIF file do not have any match with .pdf or csv formats.

Its entries are look like as follows (some what similar to a text file but with comma separated values and remember its not a csv too)

EDR,10016999993331,302680122,AS788790260001014294671701,2013-06-01,2013-06-30,30,1000,0,0 EDR,10015999994414,302680122,AE020269080001011494746301,2013-06-01,2013-06-30,30,2000,0,0

Can anyone give me an advice to achieve this , Any help/suggestions is appreciated . Thanks in advance ..

Hello friend;

If you will not be able  to find any link in the internet to convert your SIF file to CSV file, here is what i suggest to you:

-Make a button to upload your SIF file

-Browse your file and convert its separators af if it was a csv (make some changements to the file in order to convert it to CSV file)

-Import your new file

-> You will be obliged to prepare a new WIDGET in openERP to convert your SIF file to CSV file then import it.

You have to work with the static folder (javascript, css, xml).
