I want to replace the auto-generated CoA with my own. A handful of accounts (Trade receivables, Trade payables, Default sales, Default cost of sales) won't delete because of a message 'set on customer or supplier' (even though I have removed these from the journals). I know that I can rename these but I also want to create new id's, so where are, and how do I remove, dependencies on these accounts to let me delete them?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

Company Properties - they define defaults for many models/objects/documents that need accounts.
Settings --> Technical --> Parameters --> Company Properties
You need to delete these (each company, each partner if set):
property_stock_account_output |
property_stock_account_input |
property_stock_account_output_categ_id |
property_stock_account_input_categ_id |
property_account_receivable_id |
property_account_payable_id |
property_account_expense_categ_id |
property_account_income_categ_id |
property_stock_valuation_account_id |
Make sure you create them again after you've imported the new accounts.
