Hello,

Thanks for letting me in here,

I am testing odoo in a virtuall environment , I have the allinone setup7 installed on a virtual windows 2012 Server, and windows 8.1 pro  also installed and connected to the domain with openerp client 7 installed on  there, but the problem now is

How do I logon to the openerp server from the client on windows 8.1 pro ?

Hello, I think you missed something:

Odoo / OpenERP is a web app since V7.0. You only need a web browser to use it. So to connect with your windows 8.1 pro:

  1. find IP adresse of your virtual windows serveur and be sure that you can reach it (firewall, networking setup ..)
  2. On windows 8.1 pro open an web browser (firefox or chrome recommanded)
  3. In this url field write : http://YOUR_WINDOWS_SERVER_IP:8069 (replace YOU_WINDOWS_SERVER_IP by IP you find before)
  4. you should see Odoo / OpenERP login screen.
