I want to add hours performed in a contract/project to an invoice of goods deliverd.
Eg. I deliver a box throug the normal sales order process, I go to the customers home an perform 4 hours of installation work. these hours are recorded in my time sheet on a specific analytic account for that sales order. The 4 hours are not known upfront.
What is the easiest way to combine these 2 items (box + hours performed) on the same invoice?
If both products and services are on the same Sale Order, it will combine them when creating the invoice. (Even if you invoice based on delivery) If you invoice products based on sale orders, and time base on time and materiasl, you will have two draft invoices. However, both invoices are created as draft. So, you have the opportunity to merge them before validation. If you want to automate that, you will have to develop a module or buy our 80€ customization service.
