any body please guide me that how would i add inventory and cogs effect in chart of accounts of openerp. as currently it is using only purchases and creditors accounts for purchase and sales and debtors account for sale.

you probably need to install account_anglo_saxon. Then on the accounting tab of the product, change to Real Time (Automated). You will need to set up the accounting rules - these are easiest done at a category level.
