In Odoo 9,

I would like to know how you can prevent people to create accounting entries in a past period from the moment the financial director decided to close it (Closing a month).

I now there's no more accounting period but how can we face this issue ?

try to check this on Accounting>Journal Check Date in Period to be true for any journal you checked it

Thanks in advance.

Set a "lock date" from the menu: Accounting > Configuration > Settings.

You usually lock the accountant first so that they do not register new transactions while the advisor do the miscellaneous operation for the closing. Once done, you can lock for the advisor too.
