The Question has been closed for reason: not a real questionby
After installing python_ldap and auth_ldap and configuring the LDAP settings, and enabling TLS what do you do next? It would appear that we have to download our root CA certificate from our LDAP Active Directory Server and install that in /etc/ssl/certs.
- Why? Is this not a security risk?
- Can we not request a specific certificate for the purposes of OpenERP? One that we can revoke?
- Does python-ldap automatically monitor or use the /etc/ssl/certs directory or do we have to perform additional configuration.
