Hello, please how can i delete an employee from Human Resources/Employee? Every time i try, i get this error- Constraint Error- The employee or employee category of this request is missing. Does anyone have a solution to this?
This constraint is related to Holiday or Leave Requests. If this employee has requests that have not been approved or refused, you can delete them and try again.
It isn't a good idea to delete records from the system if they are referred to elsewhere - this employee could also have time sheets, expenses, etc recorded in the system.
If you can, it would be better to make the employee inactive.
Inactive records don't show up when you search for them (if you search for an inactive employee, they won't be found unless you specifically search for inactive employees), but the other records referring to them still remain in the system.
