Sometimes, I also need these products internally. I would like these products to be expensed, just like when I order consumables.
I need Odoo to debit my expense account for their value.
How do I do this in the Warehouse and/or in Accounting properly?
This method might work for you:
Setup a Location "Internal Consumption" which is an Inventory Loss location, with a Stock Valuation Account matching the Expense account you want to use to book the value of the asset you are consuming.
SCRAP to this Internal Consumption location when you consume products.
