how do I add an existing contact to a company

Hello Have created a contact, have now found out which organisation the contact works for. I would like to create a "company" contact and add the existing contact to that. Please assist. Regards Jacques

When you create a contact, you can set the company when it work for.

ATTENTION: The boolean value "is company" must be unchecked to use the field company.

So, for the sake of argument I have a contact and a company. Neither one are linked yet, but I now need to add the existing contact record to the company. How can I do this? Because, I am sure in 6 you could add a line with an existing contact? Either way, there seems to be no way of adding existing contacts to existing company records.
