Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
I need to import a invetory file that have many columns an example of a table in excel format that have many papers, to the odoo interface exactly to the configuration of inventory . and please give an tutorial to how import the csv file in the correct format without any lose od details !
Well, if you can find the appriopriate object that you need the CSV import for, you can use the exporter to create "an import compatible" CSV file that already has the right columns for your import.
Just select all the columns from the list that you absolutely need in your new situation, along with the purple mandatory columns from Odoo and you should be able to import without any trouble.
Easy way is using openoffice or libreoffice.. (free versions of m$$ excell)
Just open csv file (or create new ods file)
edit the data ,and finaly export it via Save As (csv) menu..
Remember to edit filter settings, an turn on "Quote alltext fields"
Now you should have cvs ready for import..
Hope it helps
