Hi,

I use openerp v7 and is very slow:

-I have only 1700 products, and when i select to show all products (ilimited option) in the tree view, it takes around 10 mins to show all opf them. This is when only 1 user is using the system!!!

-I tested the system with 20 concurrent users, and everything was so slow, there was lots of loading with each click

My server is hosted on rackspace and these are the server specs:

Dell Memory: 128 GB DELL RAM, GB Memory: 128

Dell Servers: DELL PowerEdge R720 Linux Required

Dell Servers: Dual Socket Quad Core Intel Xeon E5-2643 3.3GHz, #Processors: 2, #Cores per Proc: 4

Hard Drive: 300GB SAS 15K RPM (6 Gb/s) Drive, HDD RPM: 15000, GB Hard Drive: 300

Included Bandwidth: Included Bandwidth, GB Bandwidth: 2000

Linux OS: CentOS 6, OVF Name: cent5Guest

Point Release: CentOS 6 Base - Opt-in

RAID Configuration

RAID 1

RAID Group 1: RAID Group 1, RAID Type: RAID 1, Drives: Hard Drive 1, Drives: Hard Drive 2

RAID Group 2: RAID Group 2, RAID Type: RAID 10, Drives: Hard Drive 4, Drives: Hard Drive 5, Drives: Hard Drive 6, Drives: Hard Drive 3

advanced_networking: 1000Mb Port

There has to be something wrong with the implementation.

Please, how can I improve the system performance???

Thanks

With those hardware specs it should run like a charm! Have you checked your running processes on the server? One of the only options I can think of is that you have a lot of postgres processes which are really slowing down your server. Do you have a lot of other programs or processes running on this server?

Munin shows: 381 sleeping processes, 1 runnable

Hmm I assume there is nothing that is eating lots of your memory? Any process that is using lots of your CPU? I assume not but lets make sure.

No, the cpu is idle around 80% of the time, and only 20% of RAM is being used, I enabled the option debug_sql adn the number of queries executed to show all products was huge, maybe there is something wrong with the implementation, ¿what should I look for? Regards
