Where might install documents actually be hiding?

doc.odoo.com seems to be about 7.x and at the end of the PostgreSQL section it claims there is a "tip"

Tip

Developer Book

You can find information on configuration files in the Developer Book, section Configuration

Except there is no Developer Book at that configuration location. :-(

I feel a lack of love when I see things like this:

2014-09-24 23:15:28,286 90858 WARNING openerp-9.0alpha1 openerp.addons.base.ir.ir_cron: Skipping database openerp-9.0alpha1 as its base version is not 9.0.1.3.
2014-09-24 23:15:29,329 90858 WARNING openerp-9.0alpha1 openerp.addons.base.ir.ir_cron: Skipping database openerp-9.0alpha1 as its base version is not 9.0.1.3.

Or this:

2014-09-24 23:20:02,030 92183 INFO ? openerp.addons.bus.bus: Bus.loop listen imbus on db postgres
2014-09-24 23:20:02,810 92183 ERROR ? openerp.addons.bus.bus: Bus.loop error, sleep and retry

My guess is missing some python libraries - so where do I actually find the install documentation beyond "go read the code"

Whoa.. using freebsd for odoo. Cool. I think your problem is postgresql connection.
