Are there any specific advantages to using a filestore as opposed to the default database storage in v7? We were not able to find a list of the pros and cons of one system versus the other for OpenERP specifically.
Apart from the usual invoices and such documentation, we have a lot of building plans, pictures etc. that need to get filed away sensibly.
Any insight would be very helpful.
For system backup: I prefer file system storage to keep my database size smaller. so able to have daily backups to outside locations easily.
since my stored files are not changing very often. So I backup my files every week and have a different backup strategy.
For file security I think database backup is better.
