Hi,

 We make electronic music modules, and we're using Odoo 10 community in a pretty simple fashion, mainly for stock control, and often have to use alternative components eg transistors, according to availability. It's not a product variant so we don't want alternative BOMs as there are too many permutations. I would like to be able to choose which alternative is being used in the BOM either when creating a manufacturing order, or ideally when marking 'produce'. Is this possible at all, and if so will it require a custom module producing?
