Does Odoo company have exclusive rights to Odoo code ?

I'm perfectionist. From Compiere ERP I learned that legal issues are very important. I have a question how AGPL license of Odoo coexists with commercial modules. In my opinion commercial open source is tricky. Will not Odoo be sold to some big company like MySQL has been done.

But what about exclusivity of the code ? Did whole Odoo Comunity had been done by Odoo company ?

Odoo 10 is not AGPL, it's LGPL. More info about what is and is not possible: https://www.odoo.com/slides/slide/open-source-licenses-196

That changes a lot.
