Creating a Localization Chart of Account

on 11/12/14, 10:18 AM 830 views

Any tutorial on how to create a localization chart of account? Want to create a Kenyan localization.

@mmycool, please let me know if you find any forum posts or documentation on this and I will do the same. I'm interested in putting together something similar for Hong Kong.

Basically you could start by using the module that is closest to what you want to achieve in terms of localisation. Copy/clone the module and start editing. In the end, the majority of the information is based on the XML files that build up records in your database. The entire chart of accounts for example is represented in those XML files.

Just alter those and upload them to the community.

Thank you...Wanna try this out.

@Ludo, Thanks. I'll post back to this thread with what I find.

Please do. It will be good for the community of Hong Kong and Kenya. The more local modules that can be used out of the box, the better :) .
