Using community Odoo 9, I'm trying to enable inter company rules. Clicking the setting and then "apply", I get the error below. Is this addon not available in community edition? If not will it be, or can I add it manually? Thanks!

Interesting, thank you Ray.

Obviously I'm new to Odoo and trying to get a sense of it. Seems like this was formerly available, and now is not, for community? Seems like it should be made obvious in the interface if a feature is available or not.

More importantly, seems troubling that this is no longer available in community, but is pretty "core" for our set-up. Will other things be moved out of community?

I want to love Odoo, and we would go enterprise if we use Odoo. However, the US sales from Odoo was not knowledgeable, and, it now appears I can't test our ideal setup on our own server/LAN either, with out enterprise... Openness was a huge draw for Odoo... Now not sure what to make of it.

Multi-Company flows are only available with Enterprise or Online at version 9 of Odoo.

See https://www.odoo.com/editions

I am confused with the field parent company in company form in Community version of Odoo 9. What does it stands for ? Does it for keeping the multi-company flow ?

Thanks & Regards

Please ask a separate question. Your question is not related to Inter-Company rules.
