I have a situation as follows. I am working on a proposal for a bicycle manufacturing company. They make bicycle and sold under different brandname.

For Bicycle some parts are manufactured and some are purchased. Purchased products has lead time of 10 to 15 days and manufacturing has lead time of 3 to 5 days. Bicycle is manufactured based on Order: i.e. Made to order. Parts for Bicycle have stock order point.

If customer ask for shipment of 200 bicycles on certain dates, based on my stock availability how do I calculate number of bicycles I can make?

How do I find shortages or excess stock of parts?
