I am new to openerp. I want to implement it in our company for internal use. But one challange is on bill of materials.
We are not a manufacturing company but we deal with ICT.
I wanted to build custom bill of materials whereby the items i am entering should not be pre-configured. For example:
When we want to implement a project, we will incurr
1)Car Travel expenses at the site
2)Hotel Accomodation expenses
The cost of the above expenses will definitely vary from place to place. This means if I have sites A,B,C,D and E, then I will create Air Ticket costs for each site I want to visit and each becomes a product. This can be messy for me.
Is there a better way to do it,to avoid having a messy database products ?
