What is the difference between args and *agrs?

I'm not sure what you are talking about (since you didn't provide any information or example), but it looks like a python related question.

This is more a question about Python than OpenERP.

In summary, args is one parameter which receive one argument, when *args can receive an arbitrary number of arguments and **kwargs receive an arbitrary number of keyword arguments.

But you better have to refer to the python documention or specialized sites like StackOverflow
