Hello, we are an electronic sales and service center. We are reviewing Odoo for viability. Currently we have V8 installed.
The sales app looks good because we quote a lot. However, we are having difficulty finding an appropriate app for the service center.
We repair electronics. I've seen some are saying to use the manufacturing repair order. but this is for RMA's. Since we handle RMA's also, we wouldnt want to use this app to handle work orders from the service center as well.
What we are looking for is a work order that has status levels. Something we can create a field for and track customer devices by make, model, serial and color etc.
Our workflow would look something like this:
Customer comes in.
elects for us to repair or diagnose their computer.
a work order is created. customers device info is entered.
unit goes on bench for diagnostic.
customer contacted & approved
labor and product items are added.
work is completed.
work order is changed to invoice.
status changed to completed.
customer comes in and pays for the service.
just a typical repair shop.
Does anyone know of an app, or where I can get one made that does all this?
