As I am planing to write/translate documentation in french, I wanna start by asking what is already done.
So is there a place to work together at that documentation.
For now, I gonna start on my own website until I find a better place or people to work with

For those with opinion about it (like dev MUST work in english) you have the right to get one, but that post is not about opinion but about developing in french community.
@Ermin Trevisan: Please take the time to read, the Official doc and those at http://odoo-master.readthedocs.org/ are not the same but more complementary documentation and the doc at the seconde place is more complete. At rtdo they explain the Idea module and ask to do the academy module and the official doc explain the academy module.
This is the same as you can find at https://www.odoo.com/documentation/9.0/ and these documents are not (yet) available for translation on Transifex. The reason is very simple, they do not have any priority. What are you supposed to expect from a developer who is not able to read development related documentation in english???? I would never ever hire such a developer nor would I waste even a minute of my time to translate such documents.
Yes, this is my opinion (and the one of many others), therefore I made a comment and did not post it as an answer. However, this is the reason an Odoo employee stated somewhere else about the low priority of translation of tech documents. Nevertheless, my posted answer remains the proper answer to your original question.
Translation for Odoo including the documentation is done on Transifex. Check https://www.transifex.com/odoo/ and sign up in order to be part of the team.
