I would like to assign action to menu, for example:

SORT - this action will select orders by specific criteria and change state(send it to appropriate departments).

Is it possible to do it ?

How can i do it ?

My advice is to launch a wizard when you click on "Order sorting". On the wizard you will then have a button that calls a method in the wizard's model. This method then does the spreading of orders into departments.

As a 'Wizard you mean a separate window with button etc ?

Yes. So you create a (model.TransientModel) in Python and a Form View for this model. Then the action that is launched when you click on "Order sorting" must reference the Form View.

Good idea, already made it :) I think is better than adding action on the menu.
