My research indicates that there are currently two options to integrate Odoo 9 and Magento 2.0. There's the Globalteckz Odoo Magento connector (http://www.globalteckz.com/connectors/odoo-magento-connector) and the Odoo Integration extension by Magenest (http://store.magenest.com/magento-2-odoo-integration.html).

My instincts are telling me the the Globalteckz solution is proably a better solution given that it's Odoo driven rather than Magento driven.

My question is; has anyone used either of these? Can anyone make any recommendations either way,or at least relay thier experience of using either?

WARNING: I ended up having to give up on integrating Odoo 9 to MAgento 2.0. I went with one of the vendors claiming to have a solution only to find that they were selling something that they didn't have. They were bascially looking for someone to support the development. We didn't have the time nor money to do so and it was only after months of trying to get the thing implemented that we had to conclude that we were never going to get anywhere with it. I would suggest only going with a vendor where you know that there are existing implementations and thier clients have confirmed that the connector is working.

Hi Michael, did you ever find an answer to your question above or compare the two options via trials? I'm wondering the same thing. Thanks

I've never been able to get any advice at all. The closest I got was that there were pros and cons of each; not very helpful. I've gone with the Globalteckz product and still trying to get it working. I'll let you know how I go.

Hi Michael,

Both have their own pros and cons. Everything depends on what are requirements are and how it fits in your requirements.
