I do use this config on my LAN for developement and testing purpose :
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 V2 @ 3.10GHz, 4 cores
HD : 2 x 1To RAID1
RAM : 4GB
OS : Linux Debian 7
Applications : OpenERP7 + PostgreSQL + Nginx (SSL)
And we do use this config on several servers for production :
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v2 @ 3.70GHz, 8 cores
HD : 2 x 2 To RAID 1
RAM : 64 GB
OS : Linux Debian 7
Applications : OpenERP7 + PostgreSQL + Nginx (SSL)
