I have a project created, but I can't see how to assign portal users to tasks. I shared with the contacts and they can see in the portal, but how do I assign tasks to the users given portal access?

Currently, in Odoo it is not possible to assign portal users to tasks or projects. It is only possible to share them by assigning contacts as followers of the record.
A development would have to be done to make it possible and even so, portal users cannot upload times in tasks, only documents.
Ok, thanks. We will just go back to using open project. The product is so close to being usable. It seems to be the case with many of the apps, key functions that are needed to use for business: need to be there.
Same issues with invoicing. Can't suggest it over Invoice Ninja to any clients as it just has so many missing features.
We gave it a good try to use your product and was hoping it would be a solution we could offer our clients.
