Dear All,

I am new on this software. I have installed the community edition for learning. I have some missed. Does any one help me please:

* Can we split "cost" of manufacturing product into material cost, labor cost, burden cots? And also can we define sub-contract cost for mfg product?

* Can we define IUM and PUM for each product unit?

* Can we define product code? I just see product name...

Hi Niyas,

Thank you for quick reply. With Odoo, what inventory cost method we can use? Such as standard, avg time, avg lot? I am learning and finding on this software how to allocate cost for a part and comparison with standard cost.

Hi Bruce,
With the existing system, we cannot split the cost into material cost, labor cost etc. Currently the cost of manufacturing goes under if the bill of material is purchasing , it will go under purchase and the charge for labors goes under the HR.
In the Odoo for the  product Barcode  and  internal reference is available, you can see in the product form
