Is there a way to configure the currency for the product cost? When products are imported and the exchange rates are too volatile, it's better to keep the product's cost in the foreign currency.

Same problem here, Did you solve it?
This does not make sense from an acccounting perspective. Either you set up a company in the related country, purchase in a less volatile currency or you hedge on the money market.
However it makes sense from an operational point of view!
No, it can't. You can't separate operations and accounting. What about cost of sales, inventory valuation etc.?
