I installed odoo on my debian.
When i want to use ocr functionnality : An error occured during the ocr process. with no traceback
Someone can help me

Hi Delphine,
I've just checked the module and you're right. This is in fact a poor design choice. The only thing that happens when there is an issue with the OCR is that the state for the field 'extract_state' is set to 'error_status'. You can see the behaviour at https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/blob/46a48261ab649442816f6594d24bff476b4bdb6b/account_invoice_extract/models/account_invoice.py#L156
I made a PR at Odoo so that atleast something gets added in the log and I've asked the developers for feedback. See https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/pull/3424 if you have access to the enterprise code.
You can still report this behaviour to Odoo at https://www.odoo.com/help as this is a legitimate problem.

A basic log warning is now added in V12 at https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/pull/3434
