For those looking for an alternative to the “Automated Translations through Gengo API” module in Odoo 14, there is now a modern solution available that works with newer Odoo versions (16, 17, and 18).

It integrates directly into the standard Odoo translation dialog and allows AI-based translation of translatable content — including views (arch_db), QWeb templates, menus, labels, and other fields — without the need for external services like Gengo.

There are two versions available:

• AI Auto Translation – basic functionality for selected fields.
• AI Auto Translation PRO – includes full automation, contextual input support, HTML-safe translation (preserving QWeb structure), and progress tracking.

While this module does not support Odoo 14 directly, upgrading to a newer version would allow access to this kind of functionality. For users still on Odoo 14, manual translation or older APIs (like Gengo) remain the main options.
