For Odoo versions 8, 9, and 10 there is a very good free module which allows printed reports such as Invoices to be previewed in a new browser window rather than the PDF being downloaded each time Print is pressed.

There have been so many changes to how Reports are done between V10 and V11 that it is beyond my programming ability to make it work in V11. Has anyone developed, or is anyone aware of an equivalent module for V11?

Simply and easily what you can do is that,change the report type to HTML from pdf, so that the report will get displayed in the tab then later you can download it .

If you are looking for some community modules, I think there is no such a module available right now in apps for v11, you can convert the available module to v11. See the changes made in the report side in v11 and do changes accordingly.
