Hi,

Am not sure whether there is any other options than this, if it is not mandatory to hide it, create a custom page, using the website builder, give some message like "Down for maintenance, please come back in XX time" and set this page to the Shop menu using the Pages -> Edit menu.

So once users click on the Shop page, they will see the new page,

Once everything is done you can back the url to /shop
