[Odoo 10] Manager can't see their department leaves.

Question

Hi,

In my Odoo 10.0 installation, department managers can't see their own employees leaves, let alone approve them.
Is this the intended functionality? Is it possible to have the department manager approve employee leaves without having access to all employee leaves (HR officer).

Any help is appreciated.

Hi, @pinkakin i cannot comment on your answer due to low karma.
The manager can see the leave with no problem but they cannot approve/refuse it because it gives the error: Only an HR Officer or Manager can approve leave requests.
Can you provide a sample record rule i can use for that?

probably you can do by changing/updating/creating record rule.
